Jewelry is made to tell a story. Mine was to create jewelry pieces to adorn and protect the body by taking inspiration from one of my earliest passion, Ancient Egypt, and trying to approach it with a modernized esthetic and unconventional materials. To do so I used copper and charcoal.

Each piece covers a larger surface than some may be used to. The exaggerated size is made to protect a large part of the body but also echoes the Ancient esthetics.

Moreover, I am taking advantage of the known magical and medicinal properties of copper and charcoal to heal the body and absorb negative energies, providing a second layer of protection to the wearer’s body and mind.
