Seminars and Workshops
May 11 and 12 | 9.30 - 16.30
What does it mean to be an artist? Are we makers or are we artists?
We are very happy to share that our juror Charon Kransen, founder of Charon Kransen Arts, will be joining us in person this May for the second Athens edition of the JELO6 Project.
While in Greece, he will lead a two-day seminar dedicated to artists and their very personal paths into the field of contemporary art jewelry.

“Kremastra” Performative Project
As we gather at Lola Bar to conclude our second day, you are invited to participate in — or simply observe and enjoy— our performative project, “Kremastra.”
Using a simple everyday object as a starting point, this workshop invites participants into a process of transformation, interpretation, and connection. Through a sequence of individual and collective actions, the object gradually shifts from a familiar utilitarian form into something abstract, wearable, and relational.
Moving between making and sensing, participants explore the evolving relationship between body and object, self and other. The process unfolds as a shared experience, where gesture, exchange, and presence become central.
The process culminates in a shared performative moment — a choreographed, ritual-like movement in which all participants form a temporary social body.
Inspired by an ongoing project by Sofia Zarari and Uni.Versus Art Room, while sharing a drink.

Interwoven Bodies / Silent Commons
We invite participants to join a silent, immersive workshop exploring connection, material, and collective presence.
Working without spoken language, the workshop unfolds as a shared process where thread becomes a medium of communication — extending from the body into space, and from the individual into the collective.

From Scrap to Jewelry
What remains when a piece of jewelry is finished?
As part of the group exhibition BACKSTAGE, the contemporary jewelry school ANAMMA is organizing a creative workshop titled “From Scrap to Jewelry.”
The aim of the workshop is to create a piece of jewelry born from the remnants of the making process — a piece that highlights the traces of its construction: cuts, holes, marks, and connections.
