Eija Mustonen shaped metal plates into three-dimensional forms. Forging the metal and binding it with leather, she created a result that is aesthetically beautiful, unique, and intriguing, but at the same time is very harsh!

As a spectator, I stand, I think, and I see war-related objects, cartridges, bullets, and casings. My mind suddenly recalls abuse, torture, war, and I just want everything to stop at once. I see empty casings everywhere; I gather them from the ground and with whatever remains, I want to create a large peaceful piece, something tender that will escape from all this violence. Will I succeed? Will I achieve mental peace?
