The exhibition ''Line/ Body/ Space''  explores the encounter between two distinct artistic practices through a process of collaborative creation. The works take shape as hybrid forms in which drawing and sculptural construction coexist within a single body.
In the drawings, the human figure appears fragmented and fluid, shaped through gestural lines and strong contrasts of light and shadow. Line operates as the primary tool for constructing the image, producing bodies that exist in a continuous state of transformation.
In the sculptural jewellery pieces, form acquires a hybrid character through the collaboration of the two artists. The heads of the animals are created by the painter, while the bodies are shaped by the sculptor, generating figures that move between pictorial surface and sculptural construction. This encounter produces small hybrid entities in which line gradually becomes volume and structure.
In the cut-paper sculpture, the gesture of drawing is released from the surface and transformed into an organic system of forms that occupies space.
The exhibition proposes form as an open process of transformation, where line, body and material coexist in a continuous state of transition.
