Artist Statement

Hidden among my grandfather's stories and words are nostalgia, admiration, love, and so much more. Everything intertwines in a unique way, forming a comforting pattern that always emerges whenever there is a need for reminiscence. The stories of a lifetime become the "cushion" for my own reality.

Tradition is found in imprints—a personal trace belonging to each individual, originating from encounters with people of the past. Every imprint is unique, telling its own story, and when people come together to create new imprints, this uniqueness evolves. In this way, the past becomes a part of the present, which in turn will become part of the future.
