Chrysanthe Libereou

Flora II

I borrow charming forms from the fruits of nature and transform them, following the emotions they evoke in me. Wall-mounted ceramic compositions, multicolored or monochrome embedded in geometric frames. The thin glazed forms are surrounded by black stoneware clay, distinguished by the roughness of its texture.Entering the creative process, the fruits, leaves and branches are slowly released from their natural form and evolve into autonomous forms. Working with colored porcelains for a project, at one point a playful mood led me to a series of unique jewellery made of colored and non-colored porcelains.

A series of ceramic works where under the title "co-emotions" clay meets nature through personal sensitivities.
