Aggelika Diplarh
JEWELRY
Artist Statement
Aggelika moves through her practice with the sensibility of a poet, constructing inner narratives drawn from images, thought-forms, and sounds that seem to inhabit imagined landscapes. Working with materials rooted in nature, she shapes wood and metal into forms that hold subtle tensions — between ease and unease, weight and lightness, intimacy and the unfamiliar. Through processes of cutting, assembling, and marking, matter becomes a carrier of atmosphere and memory. Her work occupies a threshold where imagination meets making, creating connections between the self and the other, between the intangible and the tactile.
