Artist Statement

SPECIAL CASES 26 is an interdisciplinary collaboration with two artists outside the field of art jewelry. Sara Gjestland Zamecznik (Norwegian, Oslo-based), an MA ceramicist from KHiO who also works with crochet, contributed works transformed into wearable sculptures. Annika Simonsson (Swedish, Oslo-based), graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm working with sculpture and installation, collaborated on adapting her wooden sculptures—through scaling and relocation—into spatial installations on the human body as a walking gallery.

Curriculum Vitae

Dariusz Wojdyga (Polish/Norwegian, based in Oslo) holds an MA in Medium- and Material-Based Art from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, specializing in Metal and Jewelry Art. His practice explores relationships between humans, materials, and nature, focusing on sustainable sources and processes.
