Sofia Björkman

Artist, Curator, Founder of PLATINA Gallery and Studio

Sofia Björkman is a Stockholm-based jewelry artist with an MA education (1998) and research studies (2014 and 2017) from Konstfack in Stockholm. In 1998, she started PLATINA gallery and studio. Since then, she has been working as an artist, gallery owner and curator, taking part in major exhibitions such as Schmuck München, Constellations: Contemporary Jewelry at the Dallas Museum of Art and Reflection Brooch, Museu A CASA do Objeto Brasileiro, São Paulo. Sofia Björkman is a board member of the AJF - Art Jewelry Forum and cooperates with artists, curators, galleries, museums and institutions around the world.
