Artist Statement

PERSONAL GEOMETRY. She is the observer, in this moment. She returns to the beginning. To a place she does not know, yet she also knows from somewhere, from long ago… from her birth. And she lets herself draw various designs, geometric, with black ink, on burnt wood that is re-burned and engraved. And she measures all that she has lived. The secret emotions and the creatures of imagination that hide in the shadows, seeking the chance to reveal themselves. Her truths, her losses, the joys and the sorrows, the victories and the defeats. The light and the darkness, the black and the white.
