Under the theme of “Time,” Hoyeon Chung’s practice began with an exploration of human relationships and has gradually evolved into capturing the processes of recording and replaying the memories embedded within those connections. Against the backdrop of time’s continuous flow, her body of work has transitioned from the use of vibrant colors and solid materials to softer, more delicate textures in pastel tones. Through this evolution, Chung delves deeply into how each material influences the emotional and visual resonance of her compositions.
