JEWELRY

Artist Statement

The work captures the middle point of a dialogue between two people, symbolizing the conventions of a resting state — socially and religiously, but above all internally.

It speaks of being self-arrested in 24-carat handcuffs, imprisoned within an environment that feels extremely familiar. Comfortably and luxuriously numbed, the figure remains silent, unable to express, respond, or voice an opinion.
