Artist Statement
Vertical Gardens: Open Systems
The work explores the relationship between sculpture, the body, and the wearable object through a modular installation existing in a state of transformation. Constructed as an open system of forms and voids, it unfolds through time, movement, and transition. During the action, selected elements are carried and worn on the body before returning to the installation in new positions, creating shifting relationships between object, space, and the body. Through embodied engagement, the work remains open to change, allowing new possibilities of connection, meaning, and shared experience to emerge.
