Artist Statement
As part of the KHiO – Oslo National Academy of the Arts presentation “KHiO Displaced, vol. 2”, Thisbe’s work stood out for its sensitivity in material exploration and the clarity of an emerging artistic voice.
Working within a context of displacement—both physical and conceptual—her practice reflects a thoughtful engagement with jewellery and object-making as a field of research, translation, and presence in unfamiliar environments.
