Artist Statement

Dominant element of my inspiration, wax in its purest form (Sera Alba). Its spirituality and fragrance emerge through its fragility.

It is in contact with the wood which is the building material, the cosmic axis. The sacred symbol that unites and establishes.

Metal is a hard and durable element; it pierces wood and embraces wax. The perforation of a symbolic pattern on its surface forms a permeability similar to that of the confessional. It declares the secret entry of the divine into the earthly.
